Contracts as agreed
Royalty rates per format, escalators, advances and recoupment, reserves against returns, splits between several rights holders and subsidiary rights.
Tantevo is built for publishers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Publishers in the Netherlands and Belgium are next on our list — no date yet. Here is honestly what works today, what is missing, and how to tell us you are interested.
Royalty rates per format, escalators, advances and recoupment, reserves against returns, splits between several rights holders and subsidiary rights.
Import from Amazon KDP, Kobo, Google Play Books and Draft2Digital, or any CSV or Excel file via column mapping that is saved for the next report.
Interface and royalty statements (PDF, per rights holder, sent by email) in English or German. Hosting and data stay in the EU.
Authors see their contracts and statements via a personal link and can enter their address and bank details themselves — you review before anything changes.
Euro, Swiss franc, pound sterling or US dollar as base currency. Sales in other currencies are converted with the ECB reference rates or your own rates.
SEPA credit transfer file (pain.001) for payouts in euro, and a Xero bank statement export for your accounting.
We would rather say it now than after you have signed up.
VAT on self-billed statements, withholding tax and tax reporting are built for Germany (and partly Austria and Switzerland). In other countries Tantevo calculates royalties without country-specific tax logic — your accountant handles VAT and withholding.
Besides Xero, the only bookkeeping export is DATEV (Germany). Direct exports for other local accounting systems do not exist yet.
Interface and statements are in English or German only. There is no direct connection to national distributors yet — their reports are imported as files via column mapping.
Tell us where you publish and how you handle royalties today. We use your message only to reply and to decide which country comes next — no newsletter.
Your message is sent to us by email, as with our contact form. Details in our privacy policy (German). Prices are listed on the pricing page (German, in euro excluding VAT).
